Community Tools

A collection of small interactive tools for your server. Currently included: Counting (counting up together) and Polls (every message in a channel is turned into a vote automatically).

Community Tools groups small interactive games and helpers on one overview page. You turn each tool on individually and configure it separately. There are currently two tools.

Counting

A classic counting game: in a chosen channel, members take turns posting numbers in ascending order (1, 2, 3, …). The bot checks every message and reacts.

You pick a channel and toggle the rules to taste:

  • Prevent double counting - the same person cannot count twice in a row.
  • Reset on mistake - if a wrong number is posted, the count drops back to 0.
  • Delete wrong messages - chatter and wrong numbers are removed automatically to keep the channel clean.
  • Reaction - the bot adds a check mark on a correct count and a cross on a mistake.
  • Milestones - round numbers and new records get a small celebration message.

The dashboard shows the current count, the next expected number and the record. The record is kept even when the count resets.

For Counting the bot needs the **Send Messages**, **Add Reactions** and **Manage Messages** permissions in the channel (to delete wrong posts).

Polls

With the Polls tool, every message in the chosen channels is automatically turned into a vote: the bot deletes the original message and reposts it as a branded poll embed with voting reactions. Every suggestion becomes votable instantly, with no command needed.

There are two kinds of polls:

  • Yes / No - a normal message gets two reaction emojis (default ✅ / ❌).
  • Multiple choice - if the question is on the first line and each answer on its own line (2 to 10 answers), the bot lists the answers numbered in the embed and reacts with numbers (1️⃣, 2️⃣, 3️⃣ …).

You can customise the look server-wide:

  • Channels - pick one or more channels where this applies.
  • Title, colour and footer of the embed.
  • Yes/No emojis - your own Unicode or server emojis instead of ✅ / ❌.
  • Author and server icon shown or hidden.

You can also create polls directly in the dashboard: pick a channel, type the question, switch the poll type and, for multiple choice, fill the answers into ready-made fields (with “Add another option” up to 10). Optionally give the poll its own title and ping @everyone, @here or a role. The bot posts the poll into the chosen channel right away - this works in any channel, not just the poll channels, and your last used channel is remembered.

A live preview shows how a poll looks with your settings. Images from the original message are carried over into the embed.

For Polls the bot needs **Send Messages**, **Add Reactions** and **Manage Messages** in the channels.
